CALABAR CARNIVAL AND FESTIVAL 2016 THEME: CLIMATE CHANGE



"Africa's Biggest Street Party" 2016 is here again! The Calabar Carnival and festival in Nigeria showcases the richness of our cultural diversities, multi talented artistes, mosaic of costumes attracting tourists and millions of spectators cutting across the continent and the rest of the world.



The carnival, a big time party usually starts December 1 till 31 has truly pushed Cross River State to be the number 1 Tourist Destination in Nigeria and the continent at large. It has been endorsed by many multinational companies and their horizon is still rising.



We're bowling, so let's go there! Have fun and dance to the variety of tunes from the line up of international and home based artistes.

There are series of activities for this year edition Themed "CLIMATE CHANGE" which include 10,000 Tree Planting to support the "GREEN CARNIVAL"



ORDER OF PROGRAMS:

1st -10th  (DECEMBER) MILLENIUM WEEK

12th -17th  (DECEMBER) SPORT FIESTA

19th -24th (DECEMBER) THE TINAPA FAMILY FUN FESTIVAL

25th -31st  (DECEMBER) THE CARNIVAL WEEK
