THREE PERSONS DEAD IN DIESEL TANKER ACCIDENT

Three persons have been confirmed dead in a diesel tanker accident, as the tanker collided with another truck, causing a fire explosion, on a major bridge along Lagos-Ibadan expressway, in the early hours of Wednesday.

Traffic started building-up as early as 4:00am in what many thought was due to the re-construction of Lagos-Ibadan expressway which started last week. An anonimous eye witness gave his own side of the story blaming the accidwnt on the failure of the fuel tanker's system.

Men of the Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC), National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), NSCDC, Fire Service and Police were all on ground to ease the flow of traffic and evacuation.
